Before we get started, we need to know what role you intend to take on. 

NOTE: We are now accepting applications for our 2019-2020 program!


We're so glad you're interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math! We're hoping our mentorship program will only grow your interest—we want it to be attuned to your needs! In terms of requirements, we only ask that you are: a) in grade 7-12, and b) are able to participate for a few hours a month.


 To get started, all you need to do is fill out our form. We've used Google Forms to build it, but feel free to print it off and e-mail it to us if that's easier. Once you've submitted the form to us, we'll be in touch with you shortly!

Mentor Requirements

  • Have at least one year of experience as a professional in a STEM-related field.

  • Be able to commit at least 2-hours a month to one-on-one or small group mentorship (NOTE: this would be on a voluntary basis).

  • We ask that you submit a Criminal Record Check.

  • Have a passion for increasing women's representation in STEM!

To take part in our program, begin by filling out the Mentor Application Form. We have this available as a Google Form, but feel free to print it off and send it back to us via e-mail if that's preferable. Once you've filled this out and submitted it to us, we will be in touch shortly about next steps.



We want to expand our team! We're hiring for several volunteer positions: Executive Director, Sponsorship Coordinator, Events Director, Mentorship Coordinator, and Community Liaison. If you're interested, please complete the application below. 

Position Descriptions

The Executive Director will be responsible for:

  • devising strategies for increasing recruitment of mentors and mentees and ensuring long-term sustainability of program 

  • overseeing committee workflow and ensuring that monthly milestones are being met 

  • leading correspondences with decision-makers of school board, partnering organizations, sponsors/individual benefactors

  • organizing in-classroom presentations with educators to engage students 

The Sponsorship Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • finding sponsorship opportunities and securing grants

  • facilitating partnerships with local and national benefactors, and individual stakeholders

  • working with the Marketing & Events team to identify sponsorship opportunities for program events


The Events Director will be responsible for:

  • the planning and execution of monthly and semester-end events

  • creating viable partnerships with local vendors

  • ensuring that events are designed to maximize learning and networking


The Mentorship Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • facilitating mentee:mentor matches 

  • regular check-ins with program participants, primary point of contact for program-related inquiries 

The Community Liaison will be responsible for:

  • community engagement and aligning our objectives with that of the community

  • forming valuable connections with likeminded organizations and academic partners

  • identifying new avenues for marketing and outreach
